Activities & Programs

The Boys & Girls Club of Marshall County has an abundance of programs and activities to meet the needs of every single child.
Many of our programs are developed by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Some of these programs include the National Fine Arts Program, WANNA PLAY?,  Power Hour, and SMART Moves. Here at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Marshall County we also create our own programs that embody what BGCA has envisioned for our youth. These programs include Happy Helpers, Cooking Club, Lego Robotic Club, Walkers/Fitness Club, etc.

The six core areas that the Club focuses on are:

  • Sports & Recreation
  • Health & Wellness
  • Education
  • Career Development
  • The Arts
  • Character & Leadership

"Boys & Girls Clubs of America has established a "Great Futures Vision" for our Movement: Provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
To see this vision become a reality, we have developed the Formula for Impact, a research-based theory of change that describes how individual Clubs and the Movement as a whole will increase our impact - exponentially - on the young people of America. It is a road map for all Clubs to use to ensure that members have a life-changing Club Experience, and leave the Club knowing they will have a great future."    -from the bgca.com website, Formula for Impact
